This place has so much potential!!! It’s on the beach, great view and food. Just the place itself is so dull and lacks any real feeling of being out for the night. Feels like a school cafeteria

This is the second time in three years I’ve made a reservation for dinner only to have to go somewhere else because we were not able to eat. The first time they were supposedly doing renovations and we were turned away even after they had taken our reservation. Three years later we tried to go there again yesterday. Our reservation was confirmed by phone last Thursday and when we arrived we told the restaurant had to close because of an emergency. So after they called me to confirm, I was not called to tell me I would not be served again. Completely u professional so we called Le Yaca Virginia Beach and they not only took our reservation right away they guaranteed my seating at my favorite table with only minutes notice. I will never try and eat at TradeWinds again. What a joke! You seriously need to get your act together
Great views of the Bay and on cooler evenings an opportunity to sit out on the deck and absorb it all
Sort of a sad day. Took my daughter and son-in-law to brunch yesterday and at that time found out that the Tradewinds will no longer be providing this service after July I have to say that even though all the staff are a little disappointed at the decisions they still provided a fantastic brunch everybody was very pleasant. Our server Brandon was very attentive always there To provide whatever we needed. This being my daughter and son-in-law's first visit they were very impressed with the set up very very much enjoyed everything on the menu. I want to personally thank Chef O and all the staff for their efforts and time for providing such a great Meal and experience. I wish them all the best in whatever the future will bring and that someday that management will bring back the Sunday morning brunch. Again very well done and I thank you very much from myself and all my family
