McAlister's Deli - Tyler

Turkey Crunch on Jalapeño was very good. Broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl was alright but the portion of soup you get for price is way too small. Too small to even fill the bread bowl. The restaurant is very busy and the counter staff is worse thanslow. I would recommend going but not during lunch.

The past about 6 times I?ve been to McAlister?s there?s usually something wrong/missing from my order. Maybe 1 time everything has been okay. They put meat on my potato when I know for a fact didn?t order it (I?m pescatarian so I?m very careful aboutthese things), always forget things I pay extra for, give me ingredients I ask to be taken off etc. I kept getting email afteremail after email asking for me to tell them how my experience was so I finally left a review explaining how it?s not been thebest the past few times. To make up for it, the manager reached out to me and sent me a letter in the mail giving me an entreeand drink on them, I was really appreciative, so I finally use the ?coupon? and order my food as usual and yet they still messedup my order. I get the meal was for free, but I won?t be back. And I know they don?t care that they?re losing a customer, butmaybe this can bring awareness to other customers or maybe show other customers that have been experiencing this as well thatthey?re not the only ones. The only reason I?m giving this place two stars is because the cashiers were extremely sweet.

Great food, however guys don?t use their delivery!!! I got my sandwhich delivered yesterday and the girl that dropped the food off literally just left the food outside my house and didn?t bother to ring the doorbell after seeing 5 cars outside my house.Once I finally saw that my food was outside everything was so cold already. I do not recommend delivery if you want your foodwarm.

I go to this restaurant quite a bit and usually the food is great. Today, however my order was messed up which was no biggie. I ordered without olives and was just going to pick them off. When I opened my sandwich the greens on it was very wilted. I didn'twant to send my food back so I just asked for a refund. The manager on duty said her system was down and couldn't issue arefund. I ended up with a postcard for 2 free meals. Then another lady had the same thing happen and she asked for a refund andshe was given a refund! Maybe they just have a slow or new Sunday staff. I'll be sure to stick to lunchtime during the workweek.

Usually love McAllisters especially the Chicken Tortilla soup and I?m not the type to leave negative reviews. The staff is very friendly and the food is usually pretty good but I found a live wasp or some sort of bug in my chicken Caesar salad tonight soobviously there?s some sanitation issues. Luckily I saw it before I even got the chance to eat it. Edit: they reached out to meand were very apologetic and even provided with a a gift card which was very nice. Sometimes these things happen. Definitelystill a favorite of mine
